Paper men made of clouds,
Pleading across the sky.
Dancing girls fading fast,
Proclaiming alibi.
Then
Running, running,
Running away.
Not wanting to tire,
Not wanting to stay.
Running, running,
Running away.
Not wanting to tire,
Not wanting to stay.
A head is a flurry of gibberish and sense,
And the hair upon it:
gold, rust,
gold, rust,
dissonance.
